The OEB has issued a letter providing information related to quarterly reporting that is intended to monitor implementation of Green Button by electricity and natural gas distributors.
To monitor distributors' progress toward meeting the requirements set out in the Green Button Regulation, the OEB is establishing temporary quarterly reporting for the period November 1, 2021 to November 30, 2023 (the two-year implementation period set out in the Green Button Regulation). Due dates for the applicable reporting periods are set out below:
- November 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022: due February 28, 2022
- February 1, 2022 to April 30, 2022: due May 31, 2022
- May 1, 2022 to July 31, 2022: due August 31, 2022
- August 1, 2022 to October 31, 2022: due November 30, 2022
- November 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023: due February 28, 2023
- February 1, 2023 to April 30, 2023: due May 31, 2023
- August 1, 2023 to October 31, 2023: due November 30, 2023
