The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) officially launched the Industry-Led Green Button Working Group on January 13th. This group, comprised of various stakeholders, will work together for up to two years to implement Green Button in Ontario.
What to Expect at the First Meeting
The first meeting will address key topics, including:
- Meeting Schedule: frequency and future dates will be established.
- Working Group Priorities: key areas of focus will be defined.
- Essential Energy Data: data requirements for Green Button will be discussed.
- User Experience (UX): designing a user-friendly Green Button experience will be a priority.
- Data Security and Privacy: safeguarding consumer data will be addressed.
- Data Sharing Termination: processes for ending data sharing will be established.
